Pure, ripe flavors of plum, blackberry and fruitcake are wrapped in toasty oak. This is dense, picking up earth and tobacco notes as the spice elements echo on the firm finish. The lasting impression is of saturated fruit. Everything is in proportion for a long life ahead. Drink now through 2035.
Located in a remote corner of southeastern Tuscany, Tenuta di Trinoro specializes in rich, age-worthy red wines made of CabernetFranc,Merlot, CabernetSauvignon, and PetitVerdot. Tight planting, very low yields, extreme ripeness, and concentration of flavor characterize his winemaking style.The wines are highly perfumed and opulent, at once approachable and meant to be left to develop in the bottle.
