This medium-bodied white is linear and minerally, with lots of upfront saline and chalk aromas and flavors. A spiced profile of Asian pear, blanched almond and blood orange peel emerges through mid-palate, lingering on the fresh finish. Insolia, Grillo and Zibibbo. Drink now through 2026. 5,000 cases made, 1,500 cases imported.
Founded by Alberto and Diego Cusumano in 2001 in Partinico where it is based, produces elegant and identifying wines in five estates. In 2013 the Cusumano family created Alta Mora enclosing under a single new brand the new proprieties at contrade Guardiola, Pietramarina, Verzella, Feudo di Mezzo and Solicchiata on the slopes of the volcano Mt. Etna.
