Creamy and finely meshed, this medium- to full-bodied red plays aromatic accents of licorice snap, graphite and tea rose off the mulled blackberry and baked plum fruit flavors. Lightly juicy and fresh throughout, with a chalkiness to the integrated tannins. Grippy tannins emerge on the firm finish. Drink now through 2030. 200 cases made, 40 cases imported.
Quintodecimo’s winery was founded in 2001 by Laura and Luigi Moio, in Mirabella Eclano (Campania) a village in the province of Avellino. This province is called the area of Irpinia, a very reach area in vineyards and, above all, Irpinia is the area where the historical DOCG of Campania were born: Greco di Tufo, Fiano di Avellino and Taurasi.
