An elegant red, featuring a pure beam of pureed black cherry and black plum fruit. The creamy tannins are enmeshed with accents of tarry mineral, licorice and wild sage. Fresh and well-spiced on the lingering, chewy finish. Drink now through 2026. 2,500 cases made, 200 cases imported.
Antonio Morgante founded the winery in 1989, with enthusiastic support of his sons Carmelo and Giovanni. The project of the family since the beginning was to concentrate their work exclusively on the production of wines made from Nero d’Avola grapes, the only endemic red grape variety of great importance in Sicily, which the Morgante family has always grown.
