Sculpted tannins are layered with crushed blackberry and black cherry fruit flavors in this medium-bodied red, accented by hints of black licorice snap and graphite that linger on the chewy finish. Merlot. Drink now through 2025. 4,100 cases made.
Famiglia Cotarella was founded in 1979 in Montefiascone by two brothers, Renzo and Riccardo Cotarella, with the aim of shining a spotlight on a territory unjustly forgotten. In 2004 it expanded to 260 hectares with the acquisition of a winery in Umbria. From January 2017, Dominga, Marta and Enrica Cotarella, the new third generation, has officially arrived at the helm of the family. In this new vision, Famiglia Cotarella represents a story whose roots reach back into time, but whose branches are always ready to generate new ideas and to bloom into new projects.
