A refined red, drawing you into the glass with delicate notes of cardamom and tea rose, aromatic accents to the flavors of wild strawberry, iron, espresso bean and dried fig that ripple on the lightly plush palate. Take your time with this, and let the flavors expand with each sip, through to the lightly chewy, lingering finish. Drink now through 2029. 225 cases made, 100 cases imported.
Winery founded in 2004 as a sign of quality and with respect to identity. Located in the northern slope of Etna, in Passopisciaro. Only indigenous grapes: Nerello Mascalese and Carricante. Very careful selection, in search of full maturity and limiting to a minimum the yields in vineyards. Rigorous approach in the winery in search of precision and finesse. All the work is aimed at supporting the personality and character of the native grapes and territory.
