In 1989 the Charrères built Les Crêtes. The winery is located in the scenic Aymavilles area of the Aosta Valley. Vineyards are spread over 30 hectares, and planted in both indigenous as well as traditional vinifera varieties. The soils are composed of a mixture of sand and calcareous rocks. Les Crêtes’ wines have a mineral freshness and elegance that expresses the essence of mountain “terroir”.
