Hints of vanilla and Bourbon waft from the glass and wrap around the core of cherry in this stylish, elegant red. A bit oaky now, with an added layer of tannins. Offers a fine finish of tobacco and spice. Drink now through 2034. 400 cases made, 55 cases imported.
The “Poderi Aldo Conterno” winery is situated in Bussia of Monforte d’Alba which is the heart of the Barolo wine area. The estate, which vinifies exclusively its own grapes, consists of 25 hectares of vineyard. Always following a strict family tradition, red wines are neither clarified nor filtered.
