Pure and smooth in texture, featuring cherry, plum, soy, tar, tobacco and eucalyptus flavors that stay focused from beginning to end. Though firm, the tannins have a plumpness to them. Gains equilibrium in the end. Drink now through 2040.
Paolo Scavino winery was founded in 1921 in Castiglione Falletto from Lorenzo Scavino. For four generations the family focuses on producing high quality wines. The family Estate vinifies its own grapes from 30 hectares from 20 historical cru they own in 8 of the 11 villages of Barolo area. Today the winery is run by Enrico Scavino and his daughters Enrica and Elisa.
