This is round, polished and powerful, its black cherry, blackberry and plum fruit shaded by mineral, eucalyptus and tobacco accents. All the components are in the right proportions and there is energy on the long finish. Drink now through 2045. 483 cases made, 85 cases imported.
Pio Cesare was founded in the historical center of the city of Alba in 1881. Today the 5th generation of the Family – Federica Boffa Pio and her cousin Cesare Benvenuto Pio – leads and directs the winery with a property of 75 hectares of premium vineyards located in the Barolo and the Barbaresco area, crafting an iconic collection of the most traditional and classical wines of the Langhe region.
