Loaded with licorice and spice flavors, this red exudes plum and black cherry, with resin, mint and tar notes. The tannins clamp down on the finish, but this shows fine balance overall. Drink now through 2032.
The Pecchenino winery has always been a family business, located in the southwest of Piedmont, in the Langhe. The historic headquarters of the winery is located in the municipality of Dogliani, where the dolcetto vine finds its maximum expression,along with vines such as nebbiolo and barbera. In Monforte D’Alba there is a second cellar entirely dedicated to the production of their Barolos.
