A classically proportioned Barolo, featuring cherry, plum, tar, iron and eucalyptus flavors, with floral hints. Dense and tannic, offering balance and a long, mouthwatering finish. Solid tannins are offset by ripe fruit and fresh acidity. Drink now through 2046. 777 cases made, 300 cases imported.
Cavallotto estate is situated at the gates of Castiglione Falletto village and stretches on 25 hectares. In 1928 Cavallotto were among the very first winemakers in the Barolo area to produce and trade wines exclusively coming from their own grapes. Since 1974 the family has had a continuous regard to oenological, agronomic and natural techniques, carrying on the traditional way to age their wines.
