Like a gymnast, this focused red shows both power and grace. Finely meshed flavors of blackberry puree, fig cake and Earl Grey tea leaf are framed by refined, dusty tannins, with a lasting finish expands on the palate with spice and smoky mineral details. Drink now through 2030. 450 cases imported.
The Romano Dal Forno winery is located in Val d’Illasi, within the Valpolicella production area. It was founded in 1983 by Romano Dal Forno. Since 2020 Marco – his son – is responsible for all production phases. Today the company works 34 hectares and produces 45,000-55,000 bottles of Valpolicella Superiore, Amarone della Valpolicella and a very limited production of the sweet wine Vigna Seré.
