Loaded with fragrant spice and floral notes, this suave red shows a spine of lively acidity and sleek, well-trimmed tannins, a vivid frame for the flavors of wild raspberry, bay leaf, mandarin orange peel and tarry mineral. This is a fresh, medium- to full-bodied version, creamy and harmonious on the lingering finish. Drink now through 2030. 450 cases made, 200 cases imported.
Founded in 2004 by the Piccin family after many years in Tuscany, the winery is now run by Lorenzo, who manages all the production as the sole winemaker, and Andrea, who takes care of the commercial side. Taking care of 16 hectares of only Aglianico del Vulture the winery focuses on just one variety, a precise choice that allows them to work on its many nuances.
